of mood and men
For the last week, I was thinking how to go about this blog. I am sure with the quality of my writing, I am sure about the quality of the opinion I have etc. That’s not the question.
The question is, the internet is too much trade oriented. I have set up a blog about alternative approaches to clinical psychology, depression etc. on the Psychology Blog. I have written a couple of dozens of blog posts there and I got immediate attention by key word advertisers. Sure that was commercial.
The attention that I got there was about something. This something was not the quality of my opinion. It was about the quality of the sector and search engine communication capability of my opinion.
When I go and look for the popular blogs on Technorati, things are still the same. I am jealous with people who made it possible to become famous with their opinion. One such blog might be Daily Kos. Another one might be Hot Air from Michelle Malkin (I don’t like her at all though). So, those blogs are political. There are also not political blogs like the Dooce. Dooce is a better example of what I would like to do just because it is not much about having or talking about something to trade.
Anyway, those are important examples. Blogging for having your voice heard is hard. I don’t feel the need to listen to everybody in the world. No one feels that need either. So, I have to create a difference. I should open up my world a little bit and transform it into words, phrases, photographs, maybe sounds too and publish that to the world’s interest.
Anyway, that was one short kind of a brainstorming. There are more to come I hope.
